Lesson: Pete the Cat: And the Supercool Science Fair
Students will watch a video read-aloud of Pete the Cat: And the Supercool Science Fair to learn about the career of a Chemist. In part two, they'll explore the scientific method through an interactive game before stepping into the role of Molecular Chemists, using movement to model how atoms behave during chemical reactions and wrapping up with a quick molecule drawing activity.
Lesson: Grace for President
Students will watch a video read-aloud of Grace for President to explore the role of elected government leaders by learning the difference between meaningful campaign promises and empty promises. Then, they will apply their learning by acting as City Council members to match public service careers to community needs and solve neighborhood challenges.

Lesson: Staycation at a Suite Destination
Students will watch a video read-aloud of The Staycation Suite Destination to learn about the variety of careers within a hotel by learning about the roles, responsibilities, and tools used by different hotel staff members. In part two, they will then apply their learning by working together in a hotel simulation, routing guest requests to the appropriate department through teamwork and problem-solving.
Life skills
Lesson: What Cape Will I Wear Today?
Students will watch a read-aloud of Which Cape Will I Wear Today? to explore careers in mental health and wellness while learning how to recognize positive and negative self-talk. In part two, they will then apply what they learned by sorting examples of inner voices and creating a personal "Uniqueness Badge" that highlights their strengths, unique qualities, and positive affirmations.
Lesson: Whoever You Are
Students will watch a video read-aloud of Whoever You Are to learn about global diversity and reflect on what makes each person unique. In part two, they will share their individual traits with the class and collaborate to create a whole-group paper chain that celebrates the characteristics connecting their classroom community.
