Think of this page as your home base—a central spot for everything you need to feel confident and prepared. Here you will find training materials, activity ideas, important forms, and the tools to track your progress. We're excited to partner with you to make a lasting impact!
STEP BY STEP

Mentor Portal Sign-Up:
The first step is to create an account for the Mentor Portal. REGISTER HERE. Need help with your account? For step-by-step instructions on how to set up your account, click HERE.The Mentor Portal is where you will manage your team and log your classroom visits.

To ensure the safety of all students in the program, all mentors will need to sign our Safety & Security Agreement in the Mentor Portal.
This agreement must be signed by ALL mentors before entering a classroom. -
First 10 minutes – Introduction & Warm-up
Introduce yourself and any new mentors.
Conduct a fun warm-up to get students excited and engaged.
30 to 40 minutes – Activity
Small groups are best, aiming for 1 mentor to 4 student ratio.
You can focus your activity around College & Career Pathways, Essential Employability Skills, STE(A)M, and/or life skills.
10 to 15 minutes – Snack & Wrap Up Your Visit
If not already established, the Team Lead will connect with teacher to schedule next class visit.
Lastly, make sure to log your mentoring session!

Log Visits: Mentors log each visit here. Not only does this help us document and quantify our impact, it also helps us with grant compliance so we can reach more classrooms and students. At the end of the school year, this data is used to create Impact Reports that you can use to promote the great work you’ve done in your community!
