DIRECTOR, NORTH REGION

Samantha joined Adopt A Class in July 2025 as the Director for the North Region, leading programs and partnerships in her native and current home of Butler County. With a background in education and community engagement, she brings a passion for connecting people, building relationships, and helping others see what’s possible in their own communities.

She holds bachelor's degrees in mathematics and secondary education, as well as a master’s in college student personnel from the University of Dayton. Before joining the nonprofit world, Samantha spent over a decade working in student affairs at universities like Vanderbilt, Temple, and Miami. Whether managing student centers or library operations, her favorite part of the job was always creating spaces where people felt welcomed, supported, and able to grow.

Outside of work, Samantha enjoys exploring new places with her husband and bonus kids—especially when there’s good food involved. She also loves getting her hands dirty in her garden, diving into a great book or binge-worthy show, and hanging out with her four quirky rescue pets: Poppi, Maggie, Comet, and Olive. She's a big believer in community, connection, and saying hello to every dog she passes.
